It covers how we process any personal information you provide to us, as well as how we’re committed to keeping it safe and managing it in line with the latest data protection laws.

WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA

From our website , when you sign-up to our newsletter, buy from our shop or complete the “contact us” form.
If you buy from our shop you will also be providing payment details, which are processed via a secure third party transactional website, like PayPal (please check their Privacy and Data Policies). We do have a Secure Server Licence (SSL Certificate). We do not store your payment details on our own website, devices or servers.
Peccadillo Pictures may, in the interest of improving its service, enact surveys to collate information about the interests and relevant activities of our subscriber base. Participation in such surveys is voluntary, and if you choose to participate, all information collated will be treated with the same high standard of protection as all other personal information.
We may also offer the opportunity to enter competitions from time to time. There is no obligation to enter such competitions, however should you choose to enter, all information received will be treated with the same high standard of protection as all other personal information.

Activities such as traffic patterns, site usage and related site information may be monitored for the purposes of research and development, and in order to optimise the site to provide you with a better service. These statistics contain no information personally identifying you.

HOW WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The information you provide to us will be retained by us in accordance with applicable laws. We will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information we hold if it’s no longer needed for the purposes set out above.
However, if you do choose to share your information with us publicly (for example, photos or footage on social media), then it’s possible that other people may have copied this information during the time that it was live, and therefore use of it is beyond our control.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA FOR
We keep details of online orders for seven years for tax and accounting reasons.
We will keep your contact details for 3 years after the date of your last enquiry in case you want to make another order.
We will keep your email address until 1 month after you unsubscribe from the mailing list – you can do this at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send you.
WHERE IS DATA STORED?
Your data will be stored on Peccadillo Pictures own internal systems in our headquarters in London.
We also use cloud based services to store and process data about contacts. Some of these cloud providers store data in the United States. In these cases the providers are certified under the EU-US privacy shield framework (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/welcome ). In addition to this our contracts with these providers include clauses which guarantee that they provide the same safeguards for the data and rights to our members as if the data were stored in the EU. We may choose to use other service providers in future, if we do they will be bound by the same strict rules which guarantee that the same safeguards are in place, and your rights remain the same. If we change our service providers then we will update the details on this page so you can always return to this page to see where your data is being stored.
RIGHTS OF ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA (for EU citizens)
We want to make sure you’re in control of how we use and keep your information. You can request copies of your personal information that we hold, and details of how we use it, at any time. If you think anything is inaccurate, then you can ask for it to be corrected or erased. You can request an electronic copy of your personal information to be sent to you, or another organisation.
You also have the right to stop us processing your personal information, and/or withdraw your agreement to us processing it based on ‘consent’, unless we have a legal justification for doing so.
